REGIONAL ARTIST DEVELOPMENT EXHIBITION PROGRAM (RAD ex) | 2025

ABOUT | Regional Artist Development Exhibition Program (RAD ex) | 2025

The Regional Artist Development  Exhibition Program (RAD ex) provides opportunities for local artists, curators and community groups to engage with Gallery audiences. The program provides opportunities for local artists and curators and community groups to engage with Gallery audiences. Successful applicants will be granted E3 Art Space for a period of 3 weeks to mount an exhibition and deliver up to 2 public programs.

The E3 art space is within the Gallery complex on the banks of the Wollundry Lagoon. The civic environment will provide stimulus, energy and connection to other creative practitioners and community.

The RAD Exhibition Program aims to:

  • Support the city’s diverse community of artists to learn, grow, create and connect.
  • Offer regional artists opportunities to access structured mentoring and critical attention.
  • Offer practitioners professional installation, exhibition design, promotion, support and advice from the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery team.
  • Support the development of regional artists by facilitating hire of the E3 Art Space without charging a hire fee, and by lowering the Gallery’s commission on works sold.
  • Provide high-quality, diverse arts experiences for local audiences.
  • Create awareness and appreciation of visual arts and other practitioners working in the Riverina.
